What happens when their is a snow storm and their is a big snow berm?
It's the owners responsibility to send their snow removal person before we arrive at the property. In most cases, CSD understands that not everyone is going to be ready by 6:00 so they will show up late that day or they will skip a day
Why were my trash bins not brought out this week?
It's because your trash bins were completely empty
When do the trash cans get pulled out and pushed back in?
We start our route around 5AM and we make sure to always be ahead of the trash collection drivers. We start our evening route around 2PM
What if my trash can is over filled?
If your trash bin is full and their are bags of trash beside it, then the cities garbage trucks will not pick it up. However, we will put those bags back into the trash bin after its emptied, so it will be picked up the following week. If it continues to happen, you can call CSD to order another trash can at your property.
Do you take out the recycle bins or just the trash?
We will be taking up to 3 trash/ recycle bins that you have. So, if you have two trash bins and a recycle bin, then we will pull those to the curb and back to the house for no extra charge. Any more than that will incur an additional $10 per month
If I sign up today, when will you start servicing my trash bins?
Immediately! Once we receive your request we will put you on our driving route and start servicing the day the city garbage trucks pickup your bins.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Give Take Our Trash a call and we can remove you from out list manually. We're available to talk Mon-Fri 8:00 - 4:00. You can also text us or leave a voicemail.
What if my renters have a dog inside our fence?
This has happened before with a big dog. If it doesn't look safe to enter that's because it's not. We will message you and you can message your renters to let them know that they can take the trash out this morning. We will attempt to bring it back in the afternoon.

What if animals have scattered my trash on my street?
First, you want to try to prevent this from happening by using a bungie cord or something else to fasten your bin to a structure. If we arrive on trash collection day and find your trash scattered, we will pick it up and put it in the trash can, a $18 fee will be imposed. If you're trash is scattered on a day that is not on your trash collection day, you can call us and ask for a service call and we will do it the same day for $28. If CSD finds your trash scattered, they may charge you $50.
