Frequently Asked Questions

What if my street isn’t plowed by 7:30 AM?

If your street hasn’t been cleared of snow, we won’t be able to safely access it for trash collection, and you may need to wait until the following week. However, if multiple roads remain unplowed, we will send a text and email notification to all Baldwin customers with a rescheduled pickup date as soon as possible.

What if the transfer station is closed on Thursday?

If the transfer station is closed due to a holiday or any other reason, we’ll notify you by text and email with an updated collection schedule.

What time will my trash be picked up?

Please have your bins out by 7:30 AM. Collection times vary depending on where you are along our route, but we start at 7:30 AM and work our way through the area.

What if I have extra junk that won’t fit in my trash cans?

If there’s room in our trailer and the items are reasonable, we may be able to haul them for free. However, if a special trip is required, it will fall under our junk removal services and may have an additional cost.

What if I forget to put my trash out by 7:30 AM?

If your bins aren’t out in time, we won’t be able to collect your trash that week. To avoid missing a pickup, consider our optional Trash Can Rollout Service for an additional $10 every 4 weeks, and we’ll take care of it for you.

What happens if I need to cancel my subscription?

At this time, our service is for household trash and recyclables only. If you have green waste, we may be able to help with our junk removal service—contact us for details.

What types of trash can I put in my bins?

We accept standard household waste. We cannot accept hazardous materials, batteries, chemicals, paint, or electronics. If you're unsure about an item, reach out, and we’ll let you know if we can take it.
